Payout Vector
Q: What is a payout vector?
A: A payout vector is one row of the payout matrix.
It describes how one leg settles under every possible score state.
For example:
\[ S={0:0,0:1,1:0,1:1,2:1} \]
The home moneyline payout vector can be:
\[ MLHome=(0,0,200,0,200) \]
This means home win loses under 0:0 and 0:1, wins under 1:0, loses under 1:1, and wins under 2:1.
Under 2.5 can be:
\[ U2.5=(200,200,200,200,0) \]
The vector turns a written betting rule into a mathematical object.
When odds are added, the rule codes are converted into real return multipliers, and the vector can enter stake solving.
